As you know, in order to explain your overall performance variation, DataMa analyses each of your dimensions independently for each step to give you the ones that best explain the variation at this step. But the tool also analyses combinations of dimensions. Either all dimensions combined together (Combined Dimensions) or all pairs of dimensions (Smart Dimension). :homme_scientifique:

  • The Combined Dimension is activated by default, but the Smart Dimension option must be activated in the Settings menu.
  • Once activated, the Smart Dimension function will identify the best dimension combination for each step. When a dimension pair has more meaning for your variation than a single dimension, it is displayed with the “x” sign between the 2 dimensions selected. :couple_avec_cœur:
  • The combination chosen by the Smart Dimension function is available in the different graphics of the tool.
